Dear GSA New Members,
On behalf of the German Studies Association’s Executive Director Margaret Menninger, Operations Director Benita Blessing, Executive Council and Board members, and all the organizers of our 45th annual conference in Indianapolis, I would like to invite you to attend our New Members Virtual Meeting on Friday September 24, noon-1pm EDT (18-19 Uhr in Berlin!).
Please see the Zoom link, above. We hope that this brief virtual meeting can serve as a pre-conference opportunity for you to get to know more about our association, and about the many opportunities ahead that will further your German Studies scholarship.
For those of you who will be traveling to Indianapolis, I look forward to saying hi to you very soon. For those of you attending our conference virtually, I look forward to meeting you in due course. Whether as in-person or as virtual attendees of the GSA's annual meeting you'll be expanding your research networks and starting new initiatives, and I look forward to hearing about your exciting plans.
